HORSE/S: Angus is my main horse he is a 9 year old stock/quarter horse 14.2hh I bought him just broken when he was a 3 year old.

BEST RESULTS: Some of my best results are State Equitation champion 2014 State eventing prelim winner 2014, which made me accepted into being apart of the nsw eventing team for nationals 2014

FAVOURITE COMP/PLACE TO TSKE YOUR HORSE: My favorite place to compete is at Canberra, Harden and SIEC (because of the wash bays) two day events because all the grounds are great to ride on, and Hardens cross country corse is so much fun and challenging. I also love taking the horses down to the beach for a ride and a swim

GOALS FOR THE FUTURE: My goal for the future is to compete and represent Australia at the Olympics and just keep riding

WHY DO YOU LOVE WILSON EQUESTRIAN?: I love Wilson equestrian because of the good quality at a reasonable price and the shirts and show jackets are comfortable and look amazing

GOALS: Most importantly to keep enjoying my horses and improving my riding.

WHY DO YOU LOVE WILSON EQUESTRIAN: I love Wilson equestrian because it all looks very smart on me and my horses at an affordable price. Also it’s great for the unpredictable qld weather – I’m not too hot in a jacket when it’s raining but humid, and the shirts aren’t too heavy for when it’s very hot up here.

NAME: Jessie Smith

AGE: 16

Location: South Australia

WHAT DO YOU COMPETE IN?: Dressage and Showing Para Equestrian

HORSE: Northern Storm (Storm). Storm is a gorgeous little 15hh 19 years young Standardbred.

RESULTS: In March 2016 we competed at the SPPHASA State Championships, we are currently the 2016 State Champion Best Presented Open Junior Exhibit, State Champion Open Gelding, State Champion Open Rider U/18 and Supreme State Champion Open Rider. Royal Adelaide Autumn Horse Show was also successful, where we gained qualification for Royal Melbourne Horse Show next year, Werribee here we come!!

GOALS: Our goals for the rest of 2016 are to continue to strengthen our canter and work on our extensions in trot, he has the ability to do it, and it’s just a matter of finding a way for us to get there! Storm has a massive trot, so consistency in his gait is really important, something he is really starting to understand. We are currently schooling walk to canter transitions, he does it really nicely, so strengthening them will be fantastic.
